The real highlight is the budget: in order to minimise costs, elements such as aesthetic design and hardware have been reduced to a minimum, but durability and sound have been improved thanks to the solid woods and the scratch-resistant UV finish. This new UV satin finish is in fact about 30% thinner than standard finishes, allowing the wood to 'breathe' and vibrate more freely; it is strong enough to resist scratching, yet light enough to enhance the body's natural acoustic resonance for a full, rich tone.
