Hughes & Kettner extends its series of Spirit products with the launch of the new Spirit StompMan. A full-featured, single-channel pedal amp with up to 50 watts @ 4 ohms based on Hughes & Kettner’s innovative Spirit Tone Generator. The StompMan’s small footprint and its clever features such as the FX loop, solo function and footswitchable bypass that allows to bypass the internal preamp to integrate any other preamps and even amp modelers makes it the ideal candidate for being the heart of any modular pedalboard.
From legendary clean to groundbreaking distorted sounds, the sound design of the StompMan provides it all. The high dynamic range and sensitivity plus its excellent working Sagging Control gives the player all the response and feel that is expected. With the bypass switch activated, Gain and Tone are excluded from the path, whereas Presence, Resonance and Sagging controls are still accessible to achieve that traditional but yet controllable tube sounds. The Solo function boosts the volume between 0 to +6 dB beyond the Master volume for that extra kick when needed.
